Koru Games

The last 3 days i've been at Koru Games. The Koru Games is a sport tournament for Year 7 and 8 students. We played in Rolleston. I was in the Touch team. Playing touch I got a try on the first game. At the corner Te Manako set me up for one that is how I got it. We had three games on the first day, and 3 on the 2nd day and 2 on the third day. On the first day I got 1 but we got smashed. Last year that Koru Games team came 2nd over all. So i'm not that mad. The second game we got smashed and the third game we got smashed. On the second day we versed the same teams again. On the third day we versed the same team as well but on the last game we smashed up and beat them 10-2.

I really enjoyed the last 3 days. It challenged me to do my best and play well as a team. I would recommend Koru Games because it is challenging and you get better when you verse better teams.

So I was going to work on Monday morning. I work as a carpenter so I needed to go to the bus exchange.
But on the way to work I heard the siren wails. So I went to see where they were going. So I followed the
m and they led to a jewellery store. And there was a diamond ring missing. Then they looked for the dude and they found his house. He was there in the bathroom with the ring then he flushed it. And they broke in and took him to jail for 14 years.

Narrator: Captain Crabclaw is looking for a crew to sail his ship and he is looking to meet suitable people.

Captain Crabclaw: But you’re a duck.

Duck: Ahhh… but I am fearsome. Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack.(flapping her wings and snapping her beak)

Captain Crabclaw: That would scare the scales off a sea dragon. Welcome aboard me hearty. 

Narrator: Captain Crabclaw tidied the rigging and waited. Before long they heard someone coming up the gangplank.

Elephant: I’ve come about the job as a first mate.

Captain Crabclaw: But you’re an elephant.

Elephant: But I’m fearsome.

Narrator: trrrooooot! He trumpeted so loudly he blew Captain Crabclaw’s hat off. Mouldering mainsails said Captain Crabclaw. That would frighten the fins off a flounder. Welcome aboard me hardy. 

Captain Crabclaw, Duck and Elephant swabbed the deck and waited.

In science Leyam, Lukah and I are making ginger beer. We have got the recipe ready, so I think we can make it now. We just need the ingredients to make it. We are learning about chemical reactions and changes in states of matter. So here is the start of my info graphic of  Ginger Beer.

I've been doing 2 things flips and if it is raining I do drawing i'm trying to learn how to land a side flip so i'm asking people to teach me and I've been landing on my knees
