Captain Crabclaws Crew

Reader Parts: Narrator, Captain Crabclaw, Elephant, Duck, Chicken

Narrator: Captain Crabclaw is looking for a crew to sail his ship and he is looking to meet suitable people.

Captain Crabclaw: But you’re a duck.

Duck: Ahhh… but I am fearsome. Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack, Quack.(flapping her wings and snapping her beak)

Captain Crabclaw: That would scare the scales off a sea dragon. Welcome aboard me hearty. 

Narrator: Captain Crabclaw tidied the rigging and waited. Before long they heard someone coming up the gangplank.

Elephant: I’ve come about the job as a first mate.

Captain Crabclaw: But you’re an elephant.

Elephant: But I’m fearsome.

Narrator: trrrooooot! He trumpeted so loudly he blew Captain Crabclaw’s hat off. Mouldering mainsails said Captain Crabclaw. That would frighten the fins off a flounder. Welcome aboard me hardy. 

Captain Crabclaw, Duck and Elephant swabbed the deck and waited.
